Audit- above 300 million HUF yearly turnover
According to the Hungarian Accounting Act, audit is not required for enterprises whose annual net turnover does not exceed HUF 300 million and whose annual average number of employees is not more than 50 as an average for the two financial years preceding the current reporting year. Newly formed enterprises – which of course have no two financial years yet – need to calculate with the forecasted data for the current reporting year on an annual basis.
The Hungarian Accounting Act also specifies obligatory audit cases irrespective of value thresholds.
